Parents and Friends
Parents supporting parents … parents supporting staff … building stronger relationships, better communities.
In the Edmund Rice Tradition, the Terrace Community extends beyond the immediate College boundaries to the parents and families of students and other friends of the College. Indeed the “parents and friends” (P&F) forms a very important, vital part of life at Terrace.
Parents have a special interest in working in partnership with the College so that home and school complement and support each other in the education and development of their sons. The P&F is a major part of that partnership and provides a direct, primary forum for parents to learn about and have constructive input into the education that the College provides.
P&F meetings
Through monthly P&F meetings, parents are provided with a synopsis of College life by the College Principal and members of the College Leadership Team. Meetings are open to all and held in a friendly environment where participation is encouraged.
P&F meetings are held monthly during school terms on a Monday evening at 7.30pm in the Founders Room – please refer to the P&F Events Calendar for specific dates.
If you would like a reminder emailed to you prior to each meeting or if you would like to be sent the minutes of meetings, email PandF@terrace.qld.edu.au.
The P&F also provides parent information forums on topical issues affecting the College and our students with the focus again on building the partnership between the school and home.
