Terrace Basketball

Gregory Terrace has for many years cultivated a successful Basketball program, marked by high participation, great enthusiasm and energy and success on the court.  At Terrace, we strive to develop a competitive, popular and enjoyable program that is rewarding for all involved. 

Terrace Basketball has historically had among the largest number of teams in the GPS competition (more than 270 athletes participated last season) while enjoying one of the highest winning percentages in the competition.  Our campus facilities provide excellent opportunities for basketballers with several high-quality, indoor and outdoor courts.

Many Terracians garner great life experience and fond memories from their time on the court representing Terrace, as do those who have cheered on and shared in those experiences from the stands of the atmospheric Terradome.

 

Teams

Terrace typically fields teams in the following age groups and divisions:

CIC teams: Year 5 (A & B), Year 6 (A & B), Year 7 (A & B)

GPS teams: Year 8 (A-E), Year 9 (A-E), Year 10 (A-D), Year 11 (A-D), Opens (1st – 4th) 

 

Brothers Basketball

Brothers Basketball is the Terrace Basketball club. This initiative was started in 2008 to allow eager basketball players exposure to the game prior to the start of the GPS season.  Last year Terrace entered five teams for the club season.  All enquiries can be made at anthonybaruksopulo@terrace.qld.edu.au
