Chess
Chess is a challenging and rewarding pursuit that holds a respected place in our cultural program as one of the more competition centric cultural program offerings. Students who participate in Chess develop their intellectual capabilities and can gain great stimulation and enjoyment from the forum.
Terrace has traditionally been very competitive in Chess, with some students progressing as junior Chess champions. Despite the competition, chess fundamentally aspires to stimulate, challenge and provide enjoyment to our students.
