Terrace Chess

Terrace Chess had another strong showing at the Somerville House High School Team Chess Competition this month.  The competition, which ran over two Friday nights, was well attended and saw our teams take on some of the schools we will compete against at GPS level later in the year.  Our Premier team - Yang Zhang (Year 12), Jonathan Hsu (Year 7), Jack Giufre (Year 10), Alex Ong (Yea r11) and Joshua Alfredson (Year 9) - came second in the top division, narrowly missing out on first by half a point.  Alex Ong (Year 11) and Justin Jeyarajah (Year 12) picked up medals for great individual performances throughout the competition.  Congratulations to our students who received awards as well as to all the boys who represented Terrace at the event.  Terrace Chess has had a great start to 2020!

School of Rock

Terrace students will have their levies added to their Term 2 College fees.  Please ensure you have the most up to date version of the schedule as it is constantly being updated and refined. Rehearsals are well underway with our students learning new moves and actions every day.  This behind the scenes vision from our 2016 production of Pippin shows a little of the action and passion from our students.
