Tennyson "Take a Seat" Campaign
After the devastating floods of 2011, the Foundation made a commitment to assist the College in the repair and refurbishment of the Tennyson Playing Fields. In 2013 the Foundation launched the Tennyson Campaign, which included the offer to "Take a Seat". This campaign provided the wider Terrace Family the opportunity to record their name in the history of St Joseph's College by donating a named seat in the new Old Boys' Grandstand. All donations made to this fund are tax-deductible. To date, this campaign has funded the building of a new 1000-seat grandstand, the refurbishment and extension of the Rodgers Pavilion, spacious new change rooms, picket fence, floodlighting and electronic scoreboard. This exciting project was blessed and opened on 26 July 2014. There are still limited opportunities to become involved in the ongoing redevelopment of the Tennyson Fields by donating a named seat.
